After upgrading from 5.2 to 6.0.0 stable. Upgrade went flawless. I am noticing two fairly important issues afterwards;

1) cannot save html module content with popups enabled or disabled

2) popup does not go away after login (if popups disabled, page does not refresh after authentication)

I am on a mac and I've tried all major browsers. No go...

Anybody have any ideas? Here are the event log errors:

The very old FCK editor provider is not working with 6.0.0. Your best bet is to use the new Rad editor provider. You can get the installer for the Rad editor provider from the 6.0.0 Install.zip in the /Install/Providers folder.

OK switched editors and it is working properly... that's one issue down. Now if I could just get the popups to shape up and disappear when I am finished with them ;0)

Thanks Scott S!

For others who need the fix to this issue:

The rad editor should have been installed at the same time as the upgrade (or previous version of dnn 5.x - but it just hasn't been enabled)

To enable, open up web.config (in the root directory of your website.

look for the line: <htmlEditor defaultProvider="FckHtmlEditorProvider">

change it to: <htmlEditor defaultProvider="TelerikEditorProvider">

save and fixed...

please check your web.config, and if debug is set to true, set it to false - theres a known issue where debug versions of js scripts were not included.

You are welcome.

There is an even newer editor provider DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider which is what I was suggesting that you install. It includes a configuration screen in the Host menu so you don't even need to edit web.config. However the older TelerikEditorProvider is present in the upgrade and will also work.
