Does anybody have successfully working module in DNN6 with the Ajax Control Toolkit? My modules stopped working when we migrated from DNN 5.x to to 6.x. Modules compile without errors but I am getting client side script error:

'AjaxControlToolkit requires ASP.NET Ajax 4.0 scripts. Ensure the correct version of the scripts are referenced. If you are using an ASP.NET ScriptManager, switch to the ToolkitScriptManager in AjaxControlToolkit.dll'

Seems like this is conflict with Telerik's controls, according to information that I have found. But I didn't find any info how to fix it.

the message indicates, you need to run your site in an ASP.Net 4.0 application pool instead of 3.5. Before upgrading the app pool, you need to adjust web.config by running Website\Install\Config\Net40.config merge script in Host > configuration manager.

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for response, but it didn't help.
I've double checked: my web.config already contained all changes that are to be done by Net40.config transformation, so applying it wasn't needed. Anyway I reapplied it (just to be sure), with (as expected) no result.

Any future ideas?

Okay, I let it work, but I needed to dig into DNN core for that. If I read it well, Telerik Support recommends in this case to upgrade to v.2010.1.625 or later, but we already have 2011.1.519 in DNN 6.0.1. So I tried another option mentioned in that support article, found where RadScriptManager is instantiated in DNN, and added at that point EnableScriptCombine = false. That did the trick. It seems that Telerik reintroduced this bug back... But I'm too fed up with Ajax errors to check this out right now. Will look on this later, or may be someone from your side can take a look on it? Anyway, thank you for the help.

thanks for the update - please note, we're updating telerik with the 6.1.0 release (expected at the start of November) so this should resolve this issue.
