The feedback module seems to work properly.  When user sends email, it reports that it has been sent.  The message appears in the Feedback Comments, but the emails are never sent.  The SMTP settings are correct.  The email addresses are valid.

I sometimes get the following message in the event log:

EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
Body:
Sender:
BusinessControllerClass: DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Media
DesktopModuleId: 66
UpgradeVersionsList: 03.02.00,03.02.03
ExceptionMessage: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Server Name: DEDI567

Help Please!

your error is not related to the feedback module. When you say smtp settings are correct, have you verified that you have recieved the test message? Please confirm receiving the test message first (from host menu/check smtp settings).
Additionally if you're seeing the comments post in the view comments, then this indicates that the module is sending out the emails but the emails themselves might be sitting in your mail root and not actually going out. Are you using some SMTP relay or IIS's built in SMTP server?

Problem resolved.  I hadn't filled out the send-from email address properly.  It obviously has to match the SMTP user listed for the site.

Thanks for your help!
