Hi all,

I am wondering if it is possible to pass a QueryString via a link in Links module of DNN to IFrame module of DNN?
For example:

On the Links module I have links as below

Link 1
Link Name: Page 1
URL: http://localhost/dotnetnuke480/Default.aspx?tabid=36&language=en-US&pageid=1

Link 2
Link Name: Page 2
URL: http://localhost/dotnetnuke480/Default.aspx?tabid=36&language=en-US&pageid=2

And on my IFrame the URL is http://staging/default.aspx

So when I click on Page 1 (Link 1), the IFrame will get the value of pageid (QueryString) which is 1 and load the page on the IFrame with URL of http://staging/default.aspx?pageid=1, and when I click on Page 2 (Link 2), the IFrame will get the value of pageid (QueryString) which is 2 now, and load the page on the IFrame with URL of http://staging/default.aspx?pageid=2

Please note that the IFrame is on Home page of DNN.

Is above mentioned possible in DNN?
If yes how should I do it and in which version of DNN it is supported?
If no, what can you guys recommend?

Thank you.

Cheers,
Eric

Just make sure that you select URL instead of page for the link type.  You can also use the text/html module as well.

Just a tiny 2 cents remark - the previous message - mentioning link type and text/html - was related to the Link module. Meaning, that in Link module you should select URL and not Page for the target page (where IFrame module is), and that instead of Link module you can use Text/HTML module, or anything else , really, that lets you create hyperlinks or otherwise control browser navigation

(as in onclick="document.location.href='somepage_where_I_have_my_iframe_module.aspx?myparam=the_best_param_value'").

Just felt like talking this morning :)
