Without trying to sound rude this module is rubbish. Any module that causes problems with Google and thereby removes a website from a high ranking is just plain garbage.

DotNetNuke is now falling way behind. There are modules falling over and not working, people yelling for help and all of the people involved with DotNetNuke have their heads in the sand.

Check out the disaster called the News Module. You can't put a news feed that is a blog on the same site without an error message. Weeks and weeks have gone by with people asking for a fix and there have been no replies.

DotNetNuke has lost a lot of lustre and it appears to be falling apart. I wonder why the core team think otherwise - perhaps they do not read the forums.

UPDATE:  I did successfully removed all the LinkClicks (by unselecting the track clicks) for each article that I had in the Links Module.  It took a while, but Google finally indexed them and they are now available for both Google site search and regular google search.  To get Google to index them, we had to add a link to my articles page on my home page so that they would be indexed.  Otherwise Google was not indexing that page for some reason.
