ok, so I'm resurecting this old post because it still seems to be an issue.

What I'm trying to do is pull events from the DNN event module accross to a completely different site. I've got the RSS feed coming into the newsmodule, but the data is defaulting to date in descending order. I *thought* that I could just add;

< xsl:sort select="pubDate" order="ascending"/>

right after the

< xsl:for-each select="channel/item[position()<=$ItemsToShow or $ItemsToShow<1]">

and it would reverse the sort (default is ascending order) but that doens't appear to work and I get the dreaded "could not be loaded. Error: Download error (XSLT compile error.)" error which tells me nuthing.

Is there anyway to get this to work?
