When I tried to upload the survey module, I encountered the following error.

 

StartJob Reading DNN file
Failure The element 'folder' has invalid child element 'foldername'. Expected 'description'. An error occurred at , (6, 8).
Failure The 'foldername' element is not declared. An error occurred at , (6, 8).
Failure The 'modulename' element is not declared. An error occurred at , (7, 8).
Failure The element 'module' has invalid child element 'cachetime'. Expected 'controls'. An error occurred at , (14, 12).
Failure The 'cachetime' element is not declared. An error occurred at , (14, 12).
Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnAdapter_V2.ReadDnn() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

What should I do to correct this?

What version of DNN are you using?  You may be trying to install a later version of the module into an earlier version of DNN.

 NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE

This is the version that my webhost provider installs.  Should the survey module work with it?  If not, is there an alternate (a prior version?) that will work with dnn 3.0.13?

I'm also getting the same errors - my version info is as follows:

3.0.13
SqlDataProvider

Ok, I'll have a look at this module / DNN version combination later today, and see if we have a backwards compatability problem.

  For those that are hosting and your hosts have decided to use version 3.0.13 for whatever reason, they should also supply you with a version of the survey module that works on that version.
