Hello,

I was thinking the text for the notification emails for the repository would be stored in Languages, but I can't find them.  Does anyone know where I can go to adjust the text?

Thank you,
~Carole =)

Due to extremely poor and embarrassing programming, the email text is not localized :(

I've submitted an Issue here
http://dnnrepository.codeplex.com/wor...

and it will be fixed in the next release.
I apologize ... hard to believe in over 8 years, you're the first one to mention it ;)

Thank you!

We also needed the items to not be moderated, so when we adjusted a stored procedure to set the approved flag to true, I saw that the emails didn't quite say what I wanted.  I see from your link this is also on deck to be looked at. Yipee! LOL

Thank you for your quick response. We'll just let the client the text can't be adjusted right now.

btw. I just checked in the code to allow you to "un-moderate" your Repository.  Actually, I added a new security setting "TrustedRoles".  Members of that role will not be moderators, but their uploads will not require moderation. If you check "All Users" as a "TrustedRole" moderation is effectively turned off completely. Or you can check which roles you want to allow to upload without moderation.

You can download the latest beta of 03.05.06 at

Very cool...thank you!

I'll download the beta and play around with in on our development server. How long do you think it will be before this version is listed as "stable"?
