Hi,

We are runing DNNN 5.6.2. Professional. When we click on Form and List Configuration we get an error (see below). Further everythings works fine!

Fout: is op dit moment niet beschikbaar.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: D:\DotNetNuke\DesktopModules\UserDefinedTable\configuration.ascx(37): error BC30561: 'DataType' is ambiguous, imported from the namespaces or types 'System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations, DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: D:\DotNetNuke\DesktopModules\UserDefinedTable\configuration.ascx(37): error BC30561: 'DataType' is ambiguous, imported from the namespaces or types 'System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations, DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Is there anyone who can help us? Thanks.

Jan,
first time I see this error.

Looks like a third party module (or a own module) has added System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations into the default path for .Net  name resolution. Please check web.config

Hi Stefan,

We recently are using the .Net framework 4.0,  because it was needed because we recently installed MS Visual Studio LightSwitch.
DotNetnuke was still running with .Net framework 3.5. An MVP told me that DotNetNuke also runs with 4.0.
So we change that and now our DotNetNuke runs with 4.0.

We only have one a problem with a sold module Reporting Services from Beckersolutions.com. This problem is fixed by a change in the webconfig:
old webconfig:
<!--add name="ReportViewerHandler" path="Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd" verb="*" type="Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv2.0" /-->

new webconfig: (options omit)
<add name="ReportViewerHandler" path="Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd" verb="*" type="Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms" />

Section http handlers not modified:
<add path="Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd" verb="*" type="Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" validate="false" />

We don't know if this problem has something to do with our problem?
Thanks for your support.

Regards,
Jan Meffert
