Yes, you will need to alter the xml module.

That is the idea. I will add tis enhancement to the next release.

 Did this happen?  I'm not seeing the option in the XSL parameters.

Hi,

How would you use this new parameter called "CurrentDate" after you make those changes as you suggested? I am trying to use "CurrentDate" in my xsl file, but it's not working.

I called in my xsl the following:

<xsl:value-of select="CurrentDate"/>

The error message on my site page:

System.Xml.Xsl.XslLoadException
XSLT compile error.

Here is what I added to App_Code/XML/Parameters/ParameterInfo.vb:

Case ParameterType.CurrentDate ' Custom CurrentDate added
                    Return Date.Now.ToShortDateString()

Here is what I added to App_Code/XML/ParameterEditor.ascx:

<asp:listitem value="CurrentDate" resourcekey="CurrentDate">Current Date</asp:listitem>

I also added "CurrentDate" to App_Code/XML/Parameters/ParameterType.vb, and added the parameter "Current Date" on XML/XSL module setting itself.

Is there anything that I didn't do correctly please? Thank you.

Sushan

Hi,

I was using XML/XSL module (6.00.00) on my site, and initially it has all the App_Code/XML/Parameters/ParameterInfo.vb, App_Code/XML/ParameterEditor.ascx, App_Code/XML/Parameters/ParameterType.vb, but then I found the latest version (6.00.02), and I downloaded and installed the new version. Now all the App_Code/XML files are not there anymore. Does anyone know what the problem could be please?

Thank you.
