"you need to grand write permission for the upload folder to the users (in Admin > File Manager)"

   This means below steps:
    1. Login in your site with administrator account.
    2. Click dnn built-in menu "Admin - File Manager".
    3. Check on "Read/Browse/Write" permission to "Register Users" and update.

Yes.. I understand that part... if you are creating a forum for your site with the forum module. I was referring to this forum - to the www.dontnuke.com forum... I was trying to put a question into the Skins, Themes, and Templates forum, I would like to upload a few images to specifically illustrate the results I was experiencing with my code.

Like here.. trying to respond to your post... when i go to the Image manager icon, the image manager loads and all the options are grayed out except for the refresh icon, and it only shows /Portals/25/ as the source to load from... This is where I'm confused. I'd just like to load a few jpgs from my desktop up to the forum.. but cant seem to find a way to get the upload image manager to see my desktop/computer, just see the /Portals/25/.

If  I wanted to upload a jpg snapshot to this post..(the one you are reading right now).. How would I do that?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Kim

I didn't think we were allowed to upload images.

Upload them to a photosharing account and link to them.

Best wishes,
