Hello

Just uploaded a forum into my hosted 05.06.03 site and populated with forum & am getting unexpected error when go to view a post that I have just made - why?

To view the forum http://eaid.org.au/Forum.aspx and the error appears when you go to view the first entry posted

1. Any suggestions to solve ?

2. I have switched off the AVATARS

3. Would upgrading my site to the latest Forum help? IF SO, how do I go about doing.

4. Importantly will it affect other forums that I opearte on the Host domain?

Appreciate whatever assistance you can offer - this is for an important project - food aid shipments to the drought regions in East Africa.

Your efforts will be greatly appreciated.

Miles

Now this error is impacting ALL my forums on other sites.

You need to install the forum version that works with DNN 5.6.3, and is included with it. Go to Host -> Module Definitions and select the install available extensions module action (Look for forum 5.0.3 to install). This will fix the problem (which is related to Telerik). All forums on your install are currently being affected and this will fix all of them.

Chris

When you do the upgrade do you delete the old forum module first before you upload the new module?

Also will the data from the old forums be preserved - obviously I dont want to lose older posts etc.

thanks

Miles
