A collegue of mine notified me about the new AD provider 5.0.4 (RC), that apparently has been released yesterday. So great work, Mike!

Will there be a final 5.0.4 soon, or is it up to us to try this one out first? If the latter is the case, I will make an appointment with the customer to install this new version and see if the problem disappeared :)

I'll probably give the RC/beta two weeks before making it a release. I need the community (you folks) to test it to make sure I either didn't introduce new bugs or missed something. There's only so much testing I can do myself.

EDIT: If you're still not getting the profile fields filled in when you test it then try switching to using LDAP for the Root Domain. The line would look like LDAP://domain.com instead of dc=domain, dc=com.

Alrighty then; expected as much, since it's very reasonable.

I will make an appointment with the customer and afterwards let you know how it went. I'm also curious as to if this also fixes Jocelyn and Lee's issues.
