Hello

I have a question. When a user "in the wild" wants to access a DNN portal with AD authentication and enters his/her username and password, how is this information passed from the portal webpage to get an authorization? I am hoping that there is some sort of encryption and that the data isnt submitted through http over tcp/ip to the webserver in cleartext or something like that.

If anyone has any information about this, please share it with me.

Regards
Torbjörn
