Hi guys!

After upgrading to DNN 4.5.3., i got a login problems . AD synchronization with DNN works well, but when AD users try to access dnn intranet site, they must firstly login (Click on "LogOn on the bottom of the screen and type their AD username/pass - every time!). Before upgrade, when users accessed intranet, they were automatically loged in with ad credentials. What is the problem? Pls help!!!

As a test, try deleting the DNN copy of one of your user accounts.  When that user re-connects to DNN, the account should be re-created.

DanBall, it works. Also, when completely new user log on to windows and then start internet browser, those user creates in dnn.

But, the problem is that the session of anyone who log on to dnn ends a few minutes after login. The user must then login again to dnn. Also, users check "Remember password" on login. Why??? Before upgrade, users just logn to windows with their ad credentials, and after starting internet explorer, they were automatically loged on to intranet site. Please, help me with this issue!

What changes did you make to your web.config?

I'm having the EXACTLY sam issue. I'm having almost 1000 users and now Help Desk is crowded with their yells and shouts. :-( Please, did you find the solution? DotnetNuke team? Anyone?

web.config has authentication set to FORMS:

<authentication mode="Forms">
    <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" cookieless="UseCookies"/>
</authentication>

Authentication module is enabled:

 <add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Authentication" />

The mysterious part is that when I create new user in AD, he CAN log to DNN site. BUT, after a custom period (ranging from couple of minutes to the end of session), the user get logged out. And when he opens a new browser and browses to DNN site, he always has to enter his credentials.

And the last, I have been logged on to DNN with my user account for a while month now. I never get logged out. And it's just me out of all users.
