Hi Guys ,

I have looked around and found nothing on this so hope I am not duplicating questions but when is the release of the gallery for dnn 5.5 and .net 4 going to happen. I have seen comments on some threads that it is in the release tracker but I have looked in there and found nothing about it. Are we at the beta stage or close to a public release. I built a customers site and they like the gallery module after seeing it on one of my sites problem is I built the whole site in DNN 5.5 and .net4 as I did not know there was no gallery module available yet.

Thanks for all your hard work guys and if you need testers still let me know I have a server and several domains I do not currently use for anything and could be used as live test sites. Anyway most important point here is estimated time till new release.

Thanks
Paul

I am going to try to have a Gallery 04.03.02 Beta posted to the Gallery project downloads page on CodePlex by early next week which will address the DNN 5.05.00 issue and incorporate the changes already made in the Gallery 04.03.01 Beta to allow the module to run under ASP.Net 4.0. A few other minor issues that are quick to fix will also be addressed. I should then allow a week or two for public testing of the beta prior to submitting it to Release Tracker testing which is required for all "core" modules packaged with DotNetNuke.

Once the new beta is available, your help in testing would be most welcome!

I have finally completed work and a moderate amount of testing on Gallery v 04.03.02 Beta which fixes the AddFolder exception when running under DotNetNuke 5.05.00. I also took the opportunity to fix a number of more minor issues. Please visit the downloads page http://dnngallery.codeplex.com/releas... for this beta release on the project's CodePlex site. A listing of issues fixed in this version is included on the page.

Remember that this is a Beta version and should not be used on live production sites until it has passed through the Release Tracker testing process for "core" DotNetNuke modules. I plan to allow a week for the community to test this new version then, if no showstopper issues are reported, submit the package to Release Tracker testing. Since that testing process is done entirely by volunteers, it is difficult to estimate how long it will be until the official release.

The more people we have testing at this stage, the sooner and more confidently the module can be submitted to the Release Tracker. Please post any new Issus you find on the project's CodePlex Issue Tracker at http://dnngallery.codeplex.com/workit... .

Hi Bill Thanks for the updates am testing now on my test site on my office PC there is no visible issues but I am now trying it on a live test site I use to test modules before I implement them so I will let you know how it goes. If you require more testers for future releases I would be happy to help I have several live test sites and a few offline sites running different DNN versions and would be happy to help. Thanks Paul
