Gallery Version: 03.01.12

Page Error Detail:

Line: 559

Char: 7

Code: 0

URL: http://xxx.yyy.zzz/PhotoGallery/tabid/57/Default.aspx

I have received that exact error.  The only difference I have is 55 instead of 57.

I have been trying to fix it for the past few days.  I had two albums in the gallery before another admin added the third album.  The two albums that were already there still work.  The latest one get the error when you try to run the slideshow.  Have you discovered anything?  I would also greatly appreciate and help.

I solved the problem since my original post. I believe the source of the problem was the name of the album. If it contains an apostrophe the error is raised. I assume other special characters may also cause this issue.

I hope this info helps.

Cheers,

T-Ed

The 55 and 57 numbers are the page numbers in your portal.  Every page you add gets a new number.

As for the error, I assume from looking at the msg is that it is a javascript client browser error?  Have you tried opening the file (view source in IE), saving it, and opening that line number and seeing what code is there?  That might give you some hints.

Also, remember that the 3.x.12 version of the gallery is a beta, and once you get about 5 images in it, it starts to have problems.

I looked at the name of the album and it does indeed have an apostrophe.  Next chance I get I will get that changed and see if that fixes the problem.  Thanks for the help!
