As we have learned in our work over the past year, it is very beneficial to have a big testing team and the Team of the DotNetNuke Gallery project has open positions for volunteers that are interested in testing the Gallery module.

What’s required?
If you have any skills in User Interface Testing using automated tools you are more than welcome to be part of the testing team, however you don’t need any qualification other than having some experience using Dotnetnuke and its modules.

As a tester you would only have to spend a minimum of 2-3 hours a week testing module features when we start a round of testing.  Our internal testing rounds always take one week and there specific things to test, most of the time these are acceptance test that cannot be automated.

The testing should be done in a sandbox and not on a production site.  Your results should be performed on different environments if possible to make sure that the module is near bug free, and basically production ready.

If you are interested to support and work as a volunteer in the DNN Gallery Testing Team please post your E-Mail addresses or contact me via Email Matthias.Schlomann(at)dotnetnuke.com .

I would be willing and interested in testing the new Gallery module. I run several DNN portals, very experienced in .Net, DNN, and maintain my own server and equipment. You may contact me at chuck@cant-wait-tech.com.
