 i have resolve this issue well and the answer is very simple that select the Layout option at the top where view, edit and layout is present at the top you will get the drop down under the action button

SO finally the solution is like this

Change your contianer action tocken tag like this

<dnn:ACTIONS runat="server" ID="dnnACTIONS"ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider"/>

and select the Layout Radio button at the left top of the page to view the action button drop down

Is there a solution to this problem that doesn't require the editing of the ACX files? If I make a change to my skin and reload it this ascx file will be recreated correct? Tihs mean i have to remember to edit this everytime ii change and reload the skin.

I build my containers in HTML would using the [ACTIONBUTTON] token fix this? If not is there an Object that I can place in the HTML file to fix this?

How can I define the provider parameter using HTML?

Thanks,

John
