Verifying a Module Definition

For custom module developers the Module Definition Validator has been developed to verify that a module definition (.dnn) file is correctly formatted. To check a .dnn file, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to Host > Module Definitions.
  2. Go to the Module Definition Validator module.
  3. Enter an absolute path (e.g. c:\test\def.dnn) - OR - click Browse and add the definition file.
  4. Click the Validate link. A message displaying the results of the verification of the .dnn file will be displayed.
