Getting Started
This section provides an overview to using DotNetNuke.

Working with Modules
This section provides an overview on working with module and detailed sub-sections. This section is relevant to All Users, Module Editors, Page Editors and Administrators. This section also contains limited information for Hosts. It includes these sub-sections:

  • Module Settings: Provides information on the settings available on the Module Settings page of all modules. These tools are available to Page Editors and Administrators only.
  • Installed Modules: Provides information on using, editing and configuring the modules that are installed with DNN by default. This section includes tutorial for all users of all levels.
  • Available Modules: Provides information on using, editing and configuring the modules which are available included with DNN but are not installed by default. This section includes tutorial for all users of all levels.
  • Project Modules: Provides information on using, editing and configuring the modules which are available from the DNN web site but are not included in the DNN installation package. This section includes tutorial for all users of all levels.

Common Tools
This section provides information on using the common tools which can be found throughout DotNetNuke. This section is relevant to Module Editors, Page Editors, Administrators and Hosts. It includes these sub-sections:

  • Calendar
  • Link Control
  • Rich Text Editors: Free Text Box and FCK Editor
  • ieSpell

Control Panels
This section provides an overview of using both the Iconbar Control Panel and the Classic Control Panel. Further information on these functions is included  in the Working With Modules and Working With Pages. This section is relevant to Page Editors, Administrators and contains limited information for Hosts. It includes these sub-sections:

Working with Pages
This section details how to add, edit and manage pages on your web site.  This section is relevant to Page Editors and Administrators.

Administrators
This section details how to undertake all administrative tasks on the Admin pages. This section is relevant to Administrators.

Hosts
This section details how to install DNN and how to undertake all host tasks on the Host pages.  This section is relevant to Hosts.

Reference
This section provides some commonly used reference material.  This section is relevant Module Editors and Page Editors.
