A getting started checklist for new Administrators to assist with setting up your portal and beginning content management.

Setting up your site

1. Update your Admin password.
2. Use the Site Wizard to configure the design and basic settings for your site.
3. Set additional Site Settings.
4. Add Security Roles to your site. If you are planning to have lots of security roles, it is helpful to choose these Roles now to make managing module and page permission easier in the future. It is a good investment of your time to have a thorough understanding of which users belong to which roles, especially if you have complex needs.

Managing site content

Once you have set up your site you are ready to begin content management. See the Pages, Modules and Control Panel sections of this manual for full details.

1. Create pages
2. Add and configure modules
3. Set module permission and configuration
4. Create module content

Note that some modules require you to set-up (configure) them before they can be used. Check out the Settings section for each module to view any configuration requirements. You will also need to set module permission to enable other users to manage content.
