Form and List 5.0.3 was released some days ago, and the new package is now also part of the latest DotNetNuke packages 5.1.3/5.1.4. It is mainly a stabilization release, covering some fixes and a few enhancements and performance tweaks.

Please download your copy and set up some nice forms and lists.

I am also happy to announce that we finalized the relocation of the Form and List project to Codeplex (http://dnnfnl.codeplex.com/). The source repository has been initialized with the 5.0.3 codebase. Starting from that date, everybody is able to monitor the progress; you can even download current source snapshots or submit patches.

The project is also using the Codeplex issue tracker, all new tasks will be created as work items. Code Check-ins can be linked to these items. We moved also all unresolved issues from the old tracker, that way no issue got lost. You can even enter own items on your own, all you need is to register at codeplex.

Now here the release notes of latest package:

Form and List 5.0.3

This version requires DotNetNuke 5.1.0 or later !

What's New in 5.0.3:

This release, form and List 5.0.3, is a stabilization release.

It fixes minor bugs found in 5.0.3:

  • records can also be deleted with html buttons
  • OnlyOwnItems.xsl is working again,
  • Number of records returned was broken for XSL scripts

It also introduces the following enhancements:

  • Improved performance for instances with some thousands of records
  • Paging by 1
  • New setting for datatype url: Support of [file:clicks] OR Search Engine friendly urls

Re: Form and List 05.00.03 released

Hi, the List and forms module is a great module! There is one feature though that is not as rich as it could be: filtering. Are there any plans for enhancing and extending the filtering functionality of the List and forms module?

Greetings from Belgium

Anthony, what are you missing on filtering? Please report in the module forum, I am already curious.

Re: Form and List 05.00.03 released

I keep finding that an import via CSV is available in 5.0.3 but I can't where that is located when I'm in the module. Am I just missing it some how or did it not make it into the 5.0.3 release and if not do you know when it might?
Thanks,
-- Jim

Re: Form and List 05.00.03 released

likewise Jim, I can't seem to find it either. Is it something that is readily available or does one need to recompile the source-code from codeplex?
